Urbanic Faves | A High Five

Hey everyone! So glad to be back. I can’t believe it’s been a month already since our last post! Around here at Urbanic Paper Boutique we all work pretty hard each day (as I’m sure the majority of you do). Let’s face it, we all need a high five every now and then to keep the momentum up on projects and our spirits high in the midst of a busy work day. Nothing says team camaraderie like an arms up, solid hand slap. We use them for small things …. Look! I just found the earring that a customer lost in the shop last week – HIGH FIVE!  and for bigger deals … I just entered, received, and tagged 500 rolls of washi tape in 10 minutes – HIGH FIVE!

Today I’m rounding up some of my favorite things from around the shop and beyond in recognition of this celebratory hand gesture. How many people can you think of right now that could use a dose of encouragement? xo – Audrey

Urbanic Faves | A day at the Bay

Ed Note: You guys! I’m so excited to introduce this brand new column from the incredible Audrey of Urbanic Paper Boutique! I’ve long admired Audrey’s amazing eye for stationery, particularly her ability to pull together themed collections in her beautiful store. I’m so lucky to be able to call Audrey a friend, but even luckier that she has agreed to stop by OSBP each month to share some of the things inspiring her each month. Welcome Audrey!! –Nole

Hello OSBP readers! I’m delighted to be here today and launching our new column on Oh So Beautiful Paper. My name is Audrey Woollen and I have a shop in Los Angeles called Urbanic Paper Boutique.  I’ve known Nole for many years (adore her) and love that we share a mutual passion for all things paper. I’ll be here once a month posting a ‘how about’ series, sharing our latest inspiration with you. We’ll be highlighting some of our favorite things from around the shop and beyond. Today we’re kicking off the column with inspiration from a recent family trip to San Francisco.  With adventures in the Ferry Building, Bi-Rite Creamery, Tartine, the Golden Gate Bridge and of course the cable cars – we had a wonderful time exploring and tasting our way through the Bay City! –Audrey

Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! I’m back in DC after a whirlwind few days in New York and grateful to be home again with my little family. I’m still catching up from the last few days, so I’m skipping straight to our weekly link round up today. I’m excited to share the rest of the photos from the NYNOW winter market with you next week! But in the meantime…

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful (and restful) holiday weekend with friends and family – and wish those of you traveling for the holiday a safe journey! Sophie is recovering from yet another cold and ear infection, so we’re still trying to decide whether to go through with our travel plans or stay home for a quiet and cozy holiday with just the three of us. Either way, I’m looking forward to a much-needed long weekend! But in the meantime…

Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! It has been such a wonderful, amazing week, with two brand new columns and one very special project. And I’m just bursting with affection for all of you wonderful readers that make all of this possible in the first place! Thank you all so much, for stopping by every day and sharing your enthusiasm through comments, pins, tweets, and emails! I’ve also been soldiering through this week with a nasty cold (thanks to Miss Sophie), so I’m signing off now to crawl back into bed and hopefully kick this bug out of my system. But in the meantime…
