Wedding Stationery Inspiration: Place Setting Ideas

One of my favorite parts of a wedding is the tablescape and place setting. This is where the small details (and your personal style) shine! We’ve rounded up a few favorite place setting ideas to help guide the inspiration for your own wedding reception. As you can see from the unique examples below, there is usually one main element that stands out from the rest. Which place setting is your favorite? – Annie

Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! This weekend I’m heading back up to New York for the summer NYNOW market – be sure to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (I’m @beautifulpaper over there) for my favorite finds and behind the scenes peeks from the show! I’ll be sure to share some highlights here, too, of course. But in the meantime…

Tropical Beverly Hills Hotel Bridal Shower Invitations

If you’ve ever been to – or seen photos of – the Beverly Hills Hotel (there are a ton on Pinterest) you know it’s just the coolest hotel. Like, on the planet. Every single detail at the hotel is just impeccable – right down to the amazing tropical wallpaper from 1942! Well, if you love the amazing vintage décor at the Beverly Hills Hotel, you’ll definitely love these bridal shower invitations from Rachelle at Wiley Valentine!

From Rachelle:The client wanted an invitation that reflected the venue, The Beverly Hills Hotel, while still keeping a feminine bridal feel. We had so much fun with this one! We created a double sided invitation on double thick cotton paper. The front was flat printed with gold foil and the back was flat printed with a pattern reminiscent of wallpaper at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

We incorporated pink stripes from the décor at the Beverly Hills H0tel for the envelope liner to create cohesiveness without being too matchy matchy. There was a also custom postage to coordinate, which I always think really completes the presentation.

Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! Earlier this week, I took a quick trip up to New York to attend an event organized by Etsy Wholesale called Open Call. Thirty artists and designers came to pitch their goods to a panel of retailers including buyers from Nordstrom, The Land of Nod, and our very own Emily from Clementine! It was so wonderful to see Emily and meet many of the artists at Open Call – I can’t stop thinking about the experience! I’m sure the Etsy folks will do a recap on their blog soon, but for now you can explore the hashtag on Instagram for images from the day! But in the meantime…

Pink and Poppy Bridal Shower Invitations

These modern bridal shower invitations from Lauren at Charm and Fig feature geometric shapes and fun floral patterns! Lauren drew her inspiration from the brunch venue: The Crosby Street Hotel. Such a fun place for a bridal brunch!

From Lauren: Stephanie’s bridesmaids held her bridal shower at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York, and Stephanie sent them my way for her invitations. We used the Crosby’s funky interiors – with its bright colors, mix-and-match patterns, and unique shapes – as inspiration for the invitation design.

The invitations and inserts were digitally printed and feature Stephanie’s favorite florals, color blocking, and a theme of blush and navy throughout. The shower hosts also wanted to include blank cards for guests to write their favorite memory with Stephanie and attach to their gift. I loved this idea, as it didn’t put guests on the spot at the shower.
