From playful snark and sarcasm, to cheeky puns and playful social commentary, to cards that are downright raunchy, you’re pretty much guaranteed to laugh out loud at least once during this recap! Today we’re focusing on one of my favorite categories at the 2016 National Stationery Show: party supplies and gift items! These are seriously some of the happiest booths to visit at the show. We’ll see striped and marbled table runners and placemats from Hester & Cook, patterned paper plates and gift wrap from Bash Party Goods, gorgeous wood cutting boards and cake (and cupcake) stands from American Heirloom, and beautiful ribbon and twine from Knot & Bow. Oh, and ALL THE THINGS from Ban.do! Let’s start with the beautiful world of colorful paper pinwheels from My Mind’s Eye!
I’m seriously in love with this mint, peach, and navy color palette!

One of my first recaps from the 2016 National Stationery Show featured veteran booths that are always on my can’t-miss-list at the show. Today I’m sharing another NSS 2016 recap featuring even more of my favorite veteran exhibitors from this year’s show! These should all be VERY familiar names here at Oh So Beautiful Paper, from Snow & Graham to Hammerpress to Smudge Ink. You’ll see beautiful envelope liners and wedding invitations from Bella Figura, eco-friendly greeting cards, art prints, keepsake boxes, and notebooks from Smock, the most beautiful cotton ribbons from Studio Carta, city postcards from Albertine Press, and social preparedness kits from Egg Press. Let’s dive right in!
How stunning is this wall featuring Bella Figura‘s new collection of flower photograph envelope liners?? And those copper foil envelope liners? Gorgeous!
It’s probably more than obvious around here, but I’m completely in love with calligraphy and hand lettering. Watching a calligrapher or hand lettering artist at work is one of my absolute favorite things – it’s like magic! So for today’s recap from the 2016 National Stationery Show, I thought we’d focus in on a few of the calligraphy and hand lettering booths at the show. Let’s start with an exhibitor making their debut at this year’s show, Shannon Kirsten! Shannon combines her unique calligraphy with gorgeous illustrations – I love all those amazing florals!

Today’s recap from the 2016 National Stationery Show is less about a common design style or color palette, and more about an overall vibe. In my head, I’ve been calling this group of booths the New Bohemians. Each booth has a laid back, offbeat vibe, with plenty of botanical details throughout. Let’s start with Wild Hart Paper, which was full of beautiful greeting cards, art prints, gift wrap, and more!
This post is FULL of photos – so keep reading after the jump too see more from Wild Hart Paper, along with the booths of Our Heiday, The Great Lakes Goods, Katharine Watson, Ferme à Papier, Idlewild Co., Heartell Press, and Banquet Workshop!
