It’s probably more than obvious around here, but I’m completely in love with calligraphy and hand lettering. Watching a calligrapher or hand lettering artist at work is one of my absolute favorite things – it’s like magic! So for today’s recap from the 2016 National Stationery Show, I thought we’d focus in on a few of the calligraphy and hand lettering booths at the show. Let’s start with an exhibitor making their debut at this year’s show, Shannon Kirsten! Shannon combines her unique calligraphy with gorgeous illustrations – I love all those amazing florals!

Next up, the colorful booth of laLa Grace! Artist Shayla LaFreniere’s cards have some of the sweetest (and most sentimental) cards at the entire show – and I love the notebooks and notepads!
UK-based calligrapher and designer Imogen Owen made her solo booth debut at this year’s show, with a variety of letterpress printed cards, art prints, note card sets, and more!
So much gorgeous calligraphy in the Leen Jean booth! I’m completely in love with the double split fountain letterpress printed calligraphy greeting cards (like this one) below – and those steel calligraphy wall signs? Totally for sale, too!
Gorgeous calligraphy art prints, mugs, phone cases, and calligraphy starter kits from Printable Wisdom!
If quirky is more your speed, you’ll love everything from Sea + Lake! Greeting cards, wrapping paper, mugs, tote bags, notepads, and even buttons! Illustration + hand lettering + a sense of humor = the best combination.
A recap of hand lettering booths wouldn’t be complete without Ladyfingers Letterpress! So many new greeting card designs this year, along with brand new foil printed holiday photo cards!
These tiny cards are brand new – and the perfect size for including a short note inside a box or gift!
