Wedding Stationery Inspiration: Die-Cutting

I’m making you think outside of the box, quite literally, today! You can easily add an extra layer of interest and dimension to your day-of wedding stationery with unique die cut shapes. Die cutting can be used to create a geometric statement with your place cards or to add an intricate border to your menu cards. The process can also be used to cut out a shape within your paper goods, making a perfectly refreshing wedding monogram, for example. I’m positive this technique can be applied to just about any wedding style or theme, be it a rustic fall soiree (think leaves and natural motifs) or a modern loft affair (read: crisp lines and bold silhouettes)! â€” Kelly

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone! Â Time is still kind of relative with a one month-old newborn at home, but this weekend really snuck up on me! Â This was my husband’s last week of paternity leave, so we’ve been trying to squeeze in some fun activities around DC before he goes back to work. Â Luckily Sophie loves to be in the Ergo and pretty much sleeps through an entire outing. Â I’ll admit to being kind of nervous about being on my own with Sophie during the day starting next week, but hopefully we’ll get the hang of things without too much trouble. Â I’ll find out soon! Â But in the meantime…

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone! Â We enjoyed our first cool and crisp week here in DC â€“ fall has definitely arrived and I couldn’t be happier! Â We took Sophie to pick out a couple of pumpkins from our favorite pick-your-own farm in the area, although of course she slept through everything. Â We’re getting more comfortable taking longer excursions outside andÂ I’m looking forward to taking Sophie for walks around our neighborhood â€“ particularly now that the leaves are starting to change. Â But in the meantime…

Seasonal Stationery: Halloween Cards

It’s that time of year again! Along with finalizing those Halloween costumes, putting up creepy decorations, and stocking up on candy, it’s time to pick out your favorite Halloween cards to send to friends and family. So today we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites to get you started. We’ve covered everything from bats and black cats to costumed kids and vampire bunnies. There’s sure to be a perfect little paper treat for everybody on your list!
