Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! Today I’m super excited to share something that has been in the works for the past few weeks! I’ve been an avid eBay user for years, and it’s still where I find most of my props. So I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to contribute a few expert guides and curate some shopping collections! I’ll be sharing a new guide and corresponding collection (or two) each week â€“ and my first guide is all about late summer cocktails! NYNOW Summer 2015 Highlights

I’ve been in New York for a couple of days walking the Summer 2015 NYNOW market â€“ and I’ve found so many things to share with you! I’ll be doing more round ups next week but in the meantime I thought I’d share a few favorites from the show (so far)!

Black, White, and Gold Foil Destination Wedding Invitations

Destination weddings are so romantic, don’t you think? Especially when said destination involves an island in Greece! The ladies ofÂ Smitten on PaperÂ created these elegant destination wedding invitations for a destination wedding on the island of Kea. I LOVE the combination of classic black and white with gold foil! Not to mention that beautiful illustrated wreath!

From Amy and the Smitten on Paper team:Â The bride and groom wanted their wedding invitations and accessory pieces to reflect the simplicity and beauty of their designation wedding in Kea, Greece. We designed a simple wreath that looks stunning when gold foil stamped and offers a subtle nod to the wedding location. The invitations were letterpress printed and foil stamped on a double thick cotton paper making them feel very elegant, but not too feminine.Â A black tag with gold foil was the perfect way to tie everything together.

We also designed a welcome packet for guests once they arrived in Greece with fun touches â€“ like how to speak a few key phrases and a map of the area.Â This was a great project to work on and we are so happy the final pieces captured the natural beauty and classic elegance of the Greek coast.

Tropical Beverly Hills Hotel Bridal Shower Invitations

If you’ve ever been to â€“ or seen photos of â€“ the Beverly Hills Hotel (there are a ton on Pinterest) you know it’s just the coolest hotel. Like, on the planet. Every single detail at the hotel is just impeccable â€“Â right down to the amazing tropical wallpaper from 1942! Well, if you love the amazing vintage dÃ©cor at the Beverly Hills Hotel, you’ll definitely love these bridal shower invitations from Rachelle atÂ Wiley Valentine!

From Rachelle:The client wanted an invitation that reflected the venue, The Beverly Hills Hotel, while still keeping a feminine bridal feel. We had so much fun with this one! We created a double sided invitation on double thick cotton paper. The front was flat printed with gold foil and the back was flat printed with a pattern reminiscent of wallpaper at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

We incorporated pink stripes from the dÃ©cor at the Beverly Hills H0telÂ for the envelope liner to create cohesiveness without being tooÂ matchy matchy. There was a also custom postage to coordinate, which I always think really completes the presentation.
