NSS 2014 Sneak Peek: 9th Letter Press

Happy Monday Everyone!Â Since this is the last week before the National Stationery Show, let’s start the week with a fun sneak peek! After making their debut last yearÂ and sharing a few rookie exhibitor observations here, the ladies ofÂ 9th Letter Press (Booth 1754) are returning to the show with a ton of new letterpress, gold foil, and offset printed cards â€“ including a fun set of adorable coupon cards, birthday cards, and sweet black and white polka dot thank you cards. I can’t wait to see it all in a few days!

Happy Weekend!

The peonies are blooming! After the most miserable winter on record, I want to drink in every single drop of spring this year. My beloved lilacs have sadly faded, but the peonies started to emerge just at the right time, and my roses are just behind them. I wish it could be Spring all year long! I’m gearing up for a busy weekend preparing for the National Stationery Show â€“ it’s the last weekend before the big show! But in the meantime…

NSS 2014 Sneak Peek: Paper Lovely

Our next NSS sneak peek comes to us from Kim at Paper Lovely â€“ and she’s been having a lot of fun experimenting with new techniques and mediumsÂ this past year! Kim’s newest collection includes watercolor illustrations, die cutting, and dip dyeing. TheÂ Botanical Watercolor 2015 calendar is both digitally and letterpress printed and new notepad designsÂ are created from original watercolor illustrations. Paper Lovely (Booth 2065) will alsoÂ debut aÂ new Luxe Stationery line letterpress printed on extra thick cotton paper with rounded corners, along with a bunch of new letterpress greeting cards!

NSS 2014 Sneak Peek: Steel Petal Press

Happy Friday everyone! Today we have not one but twoÂ sneak peeks for the upcoming National Stationery Show! First up today, Steel Petal Press â€“ a Chicago-based letterpress and design studio that made their NSS debut last year in the Ladies of Letterpress booth! This year, Shayna has graduated to her own booth (2256, yay!) and will be filling it with tons of new letterpress goodies, from greeting cards to gift tags to coasters. Here’s a small sample!

NSS 2014 Sneak Peek: Belle & Union

If you’ve followed my National Stationery Show coverage from the last couple of years, you know that I’m a huge fan of Meg from Belle & Union. Meg totally knocked it out of the park with her very first booth and has been going strong ever since! This year, Belle & Union will have a ton of new goodies in Booth 1856, from notepads to calendars to art prints from some of their most popular greeting cards, including everyone’s favorite You Make Me Â a Happy Camper. For greeting cards, the 2014 collection features 30 new cards, including the debut ofÂ Mama’s Missives, Mindful Manners for Modern CorrespondenceÂ â€“Â six cards that will make Mama proud as your cross your t’s and dot your i’s with a card for every occasion. I’m also a big fan of Meg’s commitment to U.S. sourcing and manufacturing, from 100% cotton tea towels that start from West Texas cotton pods to blue pine repurposed from the Colorado forest floor.
