Quick Pick: The Good Twin Foil Cards + Enamel Pins

OMG. These new enamel pins and foil cards from The Good Twin are just SO good! Let’s talk about the pins first. Katie has a few new additions to her fabulous Pin + Post series, including a fun update on the classic best friends necklace and an eyeball pin (!!), along with four brand new city pins â€“ LA, San Francisco, Portland, and New York! Katie promises to add new cities soon, and I’m planning to be the first in line for a DC pin!

Okay, now the cards! The new Pop Culture Couples series includes six cards, each with a tribute to Katie’s favorite lovers and friends from movies and television. The cards are printed on colored paper from French’s Pop Tone line and feature three different types of foil throughout the six cards. So fun!!

The new cards and pins are available over at The Good Twin â€“ and retailers, you can check them out in person this weekend at the Crow & Canary booth (7614) at NYNOW!

Navy and Gold Foil Stamped Wedding Invitations

Navy and gold is such a classic color combination â€“ and for good reason! For these timeless wedding invitations, Sam and Kelly of Deliver combined shiny gold foil with classic typography and ornate borders to create a truly elegant design!

FromÂ Sam and Kelly:Â Anna Beth hadÂ clear vision and great taste. She knew right away she wanted her invitations to include lots of gold and touches of navy, which we were happy to work with. She loved a more traditional look with classic typography and intricate details. We love line work and she encouraged us to push it further in hopes of creating an ornate, yet sophisticated design.

The borders came alive when they were foil stamped as you could interact and feel the texture of all the detailed lines.Â We also created a simple logo to incorporate on smaller pieces to tie loose ends together â€“Â it helped create a sense of identity for Anna Beth and David’s new life together.Â The entire suite was foil stamped in metallic gold and her programs and envelope addresses were digitally printed in navy ink.

Gold Foil and Lace Wedding Invitations

Happy Monday everyone! Designer Lauren Chism shared these beautiful gold foil and lace wedding invitations here a couple of years ago â€“ and today she’s here to share a slightly more traditional spin on that combination! The invitations feature gold foil text surrounded by a subtle lace-inspired letterpress blind impression pattern, and a beautiful gold floral envelope liner. So classically beautiful!

FromÂ Lauren:Â Gold foil is definitely having a moment right nowâ€¦ and you would think if you’ve seen one gold foil and lace wedding invitation, you’ve seen them all, but these invitations might prove you wrong!Â

Brittany and her mom were drawn toÂ Carley and John’s wedding invitationsÂ but were looking for something a little more traditional with lace accents instead of the lace taking up the whole invitation background. I played with a lot of lace arrangements before we landed on this classic look and I love how timeless and elegant this suite is.

The insert and RSVP card were also printed in gold foil, with the insert featuring the lace again, that coordinated, but wasn’t exactly the same. We paired them with ivory envelopes and Brittany picked this gold floral paper from Paper Source for the liners, which she ordered and I cut down to fit her envelopes.Â I love how two invitations with the same printing method and general ‘style’ can be so different!Â

Colorful and Gold Foil Brush Lettered Wedding Invitations

This is such a great way to combine color and gold foil! Alex fromÂ Goodheart Design created these brush lettered wedding invitations for a couple married at Disneyland in California. With each piece printed in a different color and featuring Alex’s signatureÂ lettering, this wedding invitation suite has such a fun and whimsical vibe!

FromÂ Alex:Â I had so much dun designing for this couple! They were married at Disneyland in the Rosecourt Garden, so they wanted something fun and whimsical. Usually people want their wedding invitation suite to be all one color to keep it simple and cohesive, but this couple wanted to jazz it up a little bit and have each piece printed a different color.

The main invitation is gold foil and the other two pieces are each one color letterpress. They also strayed away from the typical rsvp card and did a fun postcard, which gives the invitations a little more of a casual vibe.
