Simple + Creative Business Cards

I absolutely love to see the business cards from my favorite design studios – as much as I love their invitation, print, and stationery work, I always feel like business cards give just a little bit more insight into their personality as a designer.  So I couldn’t have been happier when Angela from SeeSaw Designs posted her business cards earlier today:

The design totally makes sense – clean and simple, but still completely creative with different typefaces and that adorable stitching detail on the side of the card.   I think this is the first time I’ve seen stitching incorporated into business cards, and I’d definitely love to see more.

Gorgeous Flowers + Escort Card Ideas

One of my favorite things about spring weddings is the flowers – peonies, hydrangeas, tulips, and so many more!  So when Kate from Flowerwild posted a few photos of some floral arrangements that she did for a recent wedding, I just about swooned:

I was particularly drawn to the chalkboard signs that functioned as table name cards, and the pinwheels that were used as escort cards:

Such a clever idea!  I absolutely love the chalkboard table signs, and the pinwheels would look absolutely lovely all lined up as escort cards waiting to guide guests to their tables.  So, so pretty!  Check out more over at Flowerwild right here.

{EAD} – Letterpress + Gocco Invitations

Today over on EAD I'm posting a few letterpress and screenprint invitations from one of my favorite studios – Parrott Design Studio.  I'm particularly smitten with these vintage show poster-inspired letterpress invitations:

Non-traditional Wedding Invitations

I love, love, love this wedding invitation featured today over at iDIY.  This invitation doesn’t have any fancy graphics, just a simple layout that uses typography and newspaper-esque graphics to tell an incredibly sweet story:

This invitation suite is a fabulous source of design inspiration for any couple trying to tell a bit of a story with their wedding invitations.  The suite was designed by the groom, Matt Dorfman, and you can find the full invitation suite right here.  Love it!
