Wedding Stationery Inspiration: Brush Lettering

Today there are so many calligraphers adding brush lettering to their menu of offerings. There are even some really great artists producing it digitally with photoshop brushes on their computers. With all of these different artists emerging and changing up the style they started in, there are so many different options for beautiful brush lettering in your wedding stationery. From watercolor to acrylic, you can find a modern and casual or traditional and formal style that fits your style. Here are a few of my favorites! – Lauren

Happy Weekend!

Hello! And greetings from Exhaustion Town, population: my family. Between the newborn and the toddler, we’re not faring too well when it comes to sleep these days. Anyone else experience major sleep issues when their toddler hit the 2 year mark? Sophie now goes into complete meltdown mode each night towards the end of her bedtime routine – and I’m having minor little panic attacks thinking about what this might mean for us as we try to get Alice into a regular night routine over the coming weeks. All advice is welcome! But in the meantime…

Alexandra + Trace’s Watercolor Gold Foil Wedding Invitations

I stumbled upon these gorgeous invitations by Leslie of Lilly & Louise over the weekend and just couldn’t resist sharing them here with you! Leslie created these invitations for a black tie wedding at a former mansion right here in DC – combining watercolor with gold foil and hand-torn paper to reflect the romantic setting of their venue. Aren’t these gorgeous?!

Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday everyone! Poor little Alice and I both have colds and Sophie seems to have come down with a stomach bug – so I’m pretty much just going to go crawl back into bed and hope for the best! But in the meantime…
