Timeless Green and Gold Foil Wedding Invitations

These classic letterpress wedding invitations from designer Amanda Day Rose feature elegant typography paired with organic elements I’m loving the combination of dark green ink and gold foil!

From Amanda:Â The bride and groom really wanted their invitations to reflect the natural yet timeless look of their wedding celebration. I designed a custom monogram with a minimal, organic wreath to tie in the overflowing greenery they planned to incorporate in their wedding celebration. I chose really elegant typography to ensure the look would be one they would fall in love with all over again in 50 years!

I then added small touches of organic elements for a completely customized look. The entire invitation suite was printed on a beautiful, creamyÂ ItalianÂ cotton paper for a luxurious, yet natural feel. We chose gold foil envelope liners to enhance the timeless look as soon as guests open the envelopes, and to tie in the gold elements they used throughout their wedding day celebration.

We tied in the remaining elements of their day-of stationery with the dark green ink and monogram throughout their wedding day, and even added a custom monogrammed wax seal to the escort cards and programs for an additional timeless feel.

Navy and Gold Foil Stamped Wedding Invitations

Navy and gold is such a classic color combination â€“ and for good reason! For these timeless wedding invitations, Sam and Kelly of Deliver combined shiny gold foil with classic typography and ornate borders to create a truly elegant design!

FromÂ Sam and Kelly:Â Anna Beth hadÂ clear vision and great taste. She knew right away she wanted her invitations to include lots of gold and touches of navy, which we were happy to work with. She loved a more traditional look with classic typography and intricate details. We love line work and she encouraged us to push it further in hopes of creating an ornate, yet sophisticated design.

The borders came alive when they were foil stamped as you could interact and feel the texture of all the detailed lines.Â We also created a simple logo to incorporate on smaller pieces to tie loose ends together â€“Â it helped create a sense of identity for Anna Beth and David’s new life together.Â The entire suite was foil stamped in metallic gold and her programs and envelope addresses were digitally printed in navy ink.

Kerry + Cuyler’s Modern Calligraphy Wedding Invitations

Gorgeous design and letterpress printing from the ladies of Gus & Ruby Letterpress with modern calligraphy from Molly Jacques = a wedding invitation match made in heaven! Samantha and Whitney from Gus & Ruby paired Molly’s calligraphy with tons of pattern and their own whimsical hand lettering. Love!

FromÂ Samantha and Whitney:Â This custom wedding invitation suite was designed for our dear friends’ wedding held right here in Portsmouth, NH. The bride and groom wanted the invitation suite to reflect their celebratory, non-stuffy attitude and hip, bold vision for their big day.

The graphic invitation prominently featured gorgeous modern calligraphy by Molly Jaques and a double layer of color and pattern.Â A bold contemporary color palette of black, slate blue, and red gave a fun, cocktail-hour vibe.

All pieces were wrapped in a custom letterpress printed patterned gatefold and tied shut with twine and custom hang-tag featuring the a two letter monogram.

Day-of pieces featured a fun trifold program, custom coasters, custom drink stirrers and more!Â As always, the pieces were lovingly letterpress printed by hand on our antique press on beautiful, textural, super thick 100% cotton paper.

Elise + Paul’s Mint and Navy Calligraphy Wedding Invitations

These classic-meets-vintage wedding invitations from designer and calligrapherÂ Holly HollonÂ are just so incredibly gorgeous. From the beautiful calligraphy flourishes, to the mint and navy color palette, to the playful bumblebee incorporated throughout the suite, each detail fits together perfectly!

From Holly: Elise and Paul had a classic spring wedding here in Birmingham, Alabama. Elise wanted a classic meets vintage look for her wedding suite which evolved into combination of mint, navy, stripes, and flora embellished calligraphy.

For her wedding logo, we found inspiration from a vintage French laurel wreath. I incorporated the couples initials into the hand illustrated design along with acorns and a bee. The bee became a playful design element in the suite.

For Elise’s wedding program we used the bee on a wax seal which secured a ribbon to the program. Each program was hand stitched with mint ribbon. I love these hand crafted details which so care and specialty to her wedding paper.

Minyi + Brian’s Modern Watercolor Wedding Invitations

These beautiful wedding invitations from Meghan of And Here We Are mix whimsical watercolors and hand lettering with a modern chevron pattern for a Fall wedding at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Boathouse. And the illustration of the bride and groom’s French bulldog on the RSVP? So cute!

From Meghan: Minyi and Brian had a fall Brooklyn wedding in the Prospect Park Boathouse. The wedding style was classic romance with a modern & fun twist, so we mixed a loose hand lettered script with watercolor backgrounds and chevron pattern, and also got to make a fun illustration of their French bulldog, Thor, for the RSVP postcards. Their colors were deep purple and succulent green; and Minyi loves all things sparkly, so metallic gold was a must.

The save the date and invitations feature hand-drawn letters and illustrations, which were then hand painted, letter press printed AND hot foil-stamped. They also included an after-party invitation on gold paper, and a tri-fold map of Brooklyn with some of Minyi & Brian’s favorite Brooklyn places listed. We printed a double run of the maps so that they could also be tucked into the welcome bags for out-of-town guests.

We also created loads of day-of goods including menus, programs, seating chart, signage, and place cards. The day-of items were mostly digitally printed, and the signs were hand painted with watercolor and gold leaf gilding.
