One of my favorite recipes lately is the one for Lemony Roasted Potatoes from the book Veganomicon. It’s a side dish that is perfectly savory – potatoes, lemon juice, tinted with tomato paste – and with lots of garlic. So very yummy.
It was so hard to narrow down the name of my favorite recipe, but it would have to be “Trevor’s perfect chocolate birthday cake” which has been adjusted and perfected by my husband over his years of baking.

I have always been love with the peach cobbler a family friend makes. As a wedding gift, she gave me the recipe, which I tried and still love. You can’t go wrong with something so simple on the menu.

I come from a family of farmers and so my all time feel good recipe is chicken and vegetable soup with fresh chicken from a farm up the road, produce straight from my garden, and egg noodles. Can’t go wrong with soup and bread still hot from the oven.
