New Giveaway! Letterpress Recipe Card Sets

Happy Tuesday everyone!  As you all know, I’m still celebrating my one-year anniversary as a full-time blogger, and that combined with the long holiday weekend has me in the mood to do something fun.  Do you remember these awesome letterpress recipe card sets from the National Stationery Show?  Amber from Fly­wheel Press organized the recipe card sets as a cool scavenger hunt at the Stationery Show and the folks at Legion Paper kindly donated the paper, and today I’m super excited because Legion Paper sent TEN of these recipe card sets for me to give to you!

  7. My favorite recipe is chocolate pistachio cake! I make it when we have company because our house is pistachio green – by embracing it’s color, it makes the awkward comment of our house being ugly to, charming.

  8. Potato and green bean linguini with vegan pesto. It. Is. To. Die. For. My non-vegan boyfriend cannot get enough! I LOVE these cards!

  9. I have been honing the perfect apple pie recipe for a few years now and it’s finally ready for its own card!

  12. My favorite (summer) recipe is Moosewood’s tabouli. Delicious, simple and healthy!

    My current favorite recipe is a tie between Fresh Peach Pie and Stuffed Peppers. Yum!

  16. We love hashbrown casserole. It’s one of my favorite breakfast dishes a la Cracker Barrel!

    My favorite recipe is a beef and parmesan pasta. It was one of the first ones I learned when my husband and I got married. 🙂

  21. One of my favorite recipes lately is the one for Lemony Roasted Potatoes from the book Veganomicon. It’s a side dish that is perfectly savory – potatoes, lemon juice, tinted with tomato paste – and with lots of garlic. So very yummy.

  22. It was so hard to narrow down the name of my favorite recipe, but it would have to be “Trevor’s perfect chocolate birthday cake” which has been adjusted and perfected by my husband over his years of baking.

  24. I have always been love with the peach cobbler a family friend makes. As a wedding gift, she gave me the recipe, which I tried and still love. You can’t go wrong with something so simple on the menu.

  25. Yummy “Scotcheroos” are my favorite! Butterscotch, peanut butter, chocolate and rice crispy deliciousness!

  26. These are beautiful recipe cards…just beautiful. My favorite recipe involves these Mexican roll-up won ton things (great name for a recipe, eh?!) I’ve been making for YEARS. Everyone just loves them with the side of cilantro dipping sauce I also make to go with them. 🙂

  28. Gooey Butter Bars! My grandma makes them at least once a month (good for my taste buds…bad for my waist line).

  33. My favorite thing to make is a Flourless Chocolate Torte. Butter + Eggs + Chocolate = perfection!

  41. Ohhhhh – my mother’s chocolate chip cookies!! I have never had better, EVER!!!

  42. My fave recipe is Whiskey Cake. Its exactly as it sounds, a delish cake covered with a whiskey sugar butter mixture as soon as it comes out of the oven. Heaven!

  46. I love my Grandma’s recipe for “Wash Day Pudding”; it’s sticky-sweet goodness in a bowl!

  54. My favorite recipes are for Ambrosia Cheesecake and my mom’s Pineapple Flan. They’re always crowd pleasers 🙂

  55. My mom’s fresh from the oven ooey-gooey School House Cinnamon Buns. Bigger than your hand and lighter than air… so good with a big mug of coffee and coconut creamer! Yum!

  60. Right now I can live on Pink Martini’s Quinoa recipe…unless someone teaches me to make sushi. The recipe cards are gorgeous!

  62. My favorite recipe is for financiers. I have been making blueberry, lemon and raspberry little cakes. I plan on trying out chocolate and hazelnut next.

    I don’t know who Ming is, but every recipe she puts on this site is a delicious piece of art.

  66. My favorite recipe is for simple chocolate cake. I used to bake it with my grandmother, and every time I bake it – it smells like childhood summers. I hope someday I will make this cake with my grand-kids 🙂

  68. White Chocolate Bread Pudding with a Bourbon Creme Anglaise. Developed this recipe for an Italian Restaurant I worked for in College. Still a favorite to make for any get together.

  73. My absolute favorite recipe is for white chocolate and apricot cookies. The batter has just a hint of espresso powder in it and is absolutely marvelous!

  76. My favorite recipe… That’s tough. There’s so many foods I like. There’s this pasta my brother makes that’s soooo good. But then I love pumpkin cheesecake. But I also love my ranch fried chicken… I just can’t choose!

  90. My favorite recipe is my mother’s sloppy joes. It’s one of those recipes that my mother just made off the top of her head, with no definite amount for each ingredient. I make it for every family get together that we have, and it invokes a trip down Memory Lane.

  96. What good timing! I’m in the middle of a design commission for a set of recipe cards, and these would be wonderful inspiration.

    My favorite recipe has to be classic Southern macaroni and cheese. I’ve tasted some delicious dishes, but the emotional comfort of macaroni & cheese always outweighs any fancy recipe.

  97. My favourite recipe at the moment is for a chocolate-pb cake…the icing is pb/cream cheese and then you top it with chocolate ganache, it is amazing!

  99. What a great giveaway! My current favorite recipe is Summer Corn Chowder. There’s nothing tastier than fresh corn in the summer!

  101. My favourite recipe is a creation by Roald Dahl- Plushnuggets. Rich, hot, banana filled puff pastry, brilliant with toffee sauce and cream. YUM.

  102. It’s a must at every birthday: Ghetto Cheesecake. It’s a fast oven baked 1 hour cheesecake that is insanely addictive. It also tastes terrific cold with coffee the next day!

  104. I come from a family of farmers and so my all time feel good recipe is chicken and vegetable soup with fresh chicken from a farm up the road, produce straight from my garden, and egg noodles. Can’t go wrong with soup and bread still hot from the oven.

  106. my favorite recipe is my mom’s super-secret-christmas-fudge recipe! she finally entrusted it to me a couple of years ago – but she made me memorize it! 🙂

  108. My favorite recipe? Spanakopita… 🙂 It’s a bit labor intensive, as I roll the filled filo and make spanakopita coils, but it’s something that my boyfriend and i do together, and then enjoy it even more 🙂

  109. This is the perfect combination, my 1st love: graphic design. my 2nd love: cooking! 🙂 I’d have to say any recipe I haven’t made yet is my favorite. The first time around never usually turns out right but it is a blast learning new tricks and trades of cooking!

  118. I adore these recipe cards, and have recently made quiona patties from a new cookbook, Super Natural Everyday by Hiedi Swanson, and currently…this is my favorite recipe! I tell everyone about them, so these recipe cards would be perfect to spread the love!

  119. My fave recipe of all time is my mom’s chocolate lady-finger cake. I’ve actually never tried it totally on my own before…but someday!
