Just about every weekend we visit our local farmer’s market – and as much as I love coming home with truly fresh produce (and flowers!), I almost always come home with the same thing weekend after weekend.  Lately, I’ve been inspired by Katy’s CSA adventures to try out some veggies that aren’t part of our regular menu.

So, this weekend we came home with:

{squash blossoms} 

{purple cauliflower!}

{kale}

For the squash blossoms, I’m thinking about going with Alyson’s yummy-looking recipe – and I’m thinking I’ll probably sautée the kale… but I’m still on the lookout for a good recipe for purple cauliflower.  Anyone have any suggestions?

It’s been a while since I’ve seen purple wedding invitations (purple is way underrated as a wedding color if you ask me) – and I’m definitely loving this purple, chocolate brown, and gold letterpress invitation suite from Lilah Paper:

I love the way each piece is slightly different, but still part of a cohesive invitation suite.  Not to mention the fabulous purple and brown color palette – I love that amazingly vibrant shade of purple!  And how cute is this photo of the couple with the invitation?

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm super-excited to announce our biggest giveaway yet – 150 letterpress Save the Dates from Delphine and Mohawk Paper!

Needless to say, as someone who absolutely loves letterpress, I'm thrilled to be hosting this giveaway!  I'm a huge fan of Delphine's work, particularly their gorgeous wedding collection:  

So now for the details…

The Prize: The winner will receive 150 Save the Date cards featuring a design from the Delphine wedding collection and letterpressed in up to 2 ink colors on Mohawk's beautiful (and carbon neutral) Strathmore Writing Recycled Bright White paper.  

How to Enter:  First, head on over to the Delphine website and scroll through their wedding collection to choose a favorite design.  Once you've picked a favorite, create an inspiration board – including the design you've selected – showing how that design fits in with your overall wedding style.  

Submit your completed inspiration boards (in jpeg format, please) via e-mail to beautifulpaperblog (at) gmail (dot) com with the subject "Save the Date Contest"  (you can also just click here).  Please include a brief description of your wedding style as well as the two ink colors that you've chosen for your Save the Dates with your submission.

Deadline: You'll have until 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, July 3 to submit your entries.  I'll post the finalists here on Monday, July 6 and then we'll announce the winner later in the week!
