Lovely Illustration – Lisa Rupp

Lisa Rupp creates such sweet illustrations, like this girl at the beach and chair print:

NSS – Booth round-up, part six

So for those of you still reading blogs on this lovely holiday Monday, I figured I'd put up my last two NSS booth round-up posts for you!

First up, Binth, whose booth was full of gorgeous cards and art prints:

I love this handcrafted baby book…

.and this deck of completely redesigned playing cards! I particularly love the redesigned face cards (like the jack, queen and king) for each suit, and the way the odd number cards are redesigned to fit together in a more organic way, like the seven of hearts below:

Another favorite booth was from Pikku, whose colorful + patterned textiles and paper goods just made me smile:

{these eco-friendly letterpress calendars adhere to screen-printed birchwood planks – once the year is over, you can either hand the birchwood as artwork or order a refill with next year's dates!}

Next up, the bright + bold designs of Dutch Door Press:

NSS – Booth round-up, part three

The Linda + Harriett booth was one that I had really been looking forward to visiting before the NSS – and it definitely did not disappoint! I love Liz's use of color and pattern, from the new greetings cards to the upcoming 2010 calendar:

The Hello!Lucky booth was truly a work of art – the ladies over at Hello!Lucky drew all the display signs onto the linen backdrop by hand!

Sabrina was also kind enough to give us a peek into the designs from the Hello!Lucky wedding album – each design is available in either letterpress or digital printing:

And speaking of fabulous wedding invitations, I definitely found a new invitation obsession in the portfolio from Sugarcube Press:

Linea Carta exhibited a fabulous range of items – from cards to textiles, calendars to wedding invitations:

NSS – Booth round-up, part two

Happy Friday everyone!Â I don’t know about you all, but I’m definitely looking forward to some much-needed rest over the holiday weekend.Â But first, more from NSS ’09!

I absolutely adored the Night Owl Paper Goods booth, which was chock full of their lovely letterpress and wood veneer stationery:

{see that square print in the center? it’s letterpress and absolutely gorgeous! they’re part of a limited edition, but you can find the few left right here}

On the other side of the design spectrum, but equally as charming, was the Fugu Fugu Press booth:

{isn’t the new baby card above the cutest thing ever?}

Next up, the booth from Portland-based Old School Stationers – the fun mix of pattern + color made this booth one of my NSS favorites:

{love these letterpress art prints – the pig is my favorite!}

{I know you can’t see the details in this photo – but this calendar is absolutely gorgeous! It’ll definitely be part of my calendar round-up later in the year}

{I tried to get as much detail on this “Merry Christmoose” card as possible – the letterpress color field makes the white snowflakes pop up. Love it!}

I also had a ton of fun chatting with Tianyi from Tiselle:

I showed you a couple of photos from the Enormous Champion booth earlier this week, but I loved their booth so much I just had to show you the rest!

Calligraphy â€” Copper Willow Studio

I haven’t featured calligraphy recently, so I jumped at the chance to feature the lovely work below from Jill, the creative force behind the custom letterpress and calligraphy design studio Copper Willow Studio:
