Label Giveaway from Truly Smitten

Did everyone see this fabulous giveaway over at Truly Smitten?  She's giving away three sets of these lovely wraparound labels:

So cute!

And, speaking of giveaways, I still haven't heard from Dina, who won last week's giveaway from Two Brunettes.  If I don't hear from Dina by midnight EST tonight, I'll draw a new winner and announce it here tomorrow.  And don't forget to enter this week's giveaway from Smock Paper!  You've got until midnight on Thursday to enter, and then I'll announce the winner on Friday – so make sure you check back to see if you've won!

Wood-Inspired Wedding Details

I must really have a thing for wood veneer and wood-inspired details lately.  First, there was yesterday’s post of wood veneer escort cards, and now I’m loving these wooden elements and wood-inspired details from this wedding.  These ceremony programs are probably my favorite detail:

Jessica’s shower invitations

You might remember Jessica's gocco'd Save the Dates from a few weeks ago – and now Jessica is back with her gocco'd bridal shower invitations!

Jessica continued her "time" theme and incorporated the mouse from her Save the Dates, again working with designer Laura Nehls and printing the design at home using her gocco.  Jessica printed these shower invitations in dark purple ink onto kraft paper from French Paper:

Well done, Jessica!  Thanks so much for sharing these with us!

Words to Work By

I can think of a lot of people here in DC who should really adopt this phrase as one of their New Year’s resolutions:

Mojo-posters-interns

These posters are part of a series from Australian ad agency Publicis Mojo (if you’ve got some time, they have some very cute ads playing on their website), entitled Words to Work By. Mojo creative director Micah Walker told CR Blog that the poster project is the first of a series of self-initiated projects that will see the agency link up and work with various different artists and designers.  Here are a couple others from the series:
