Paper Artwork – Susan Schwake for The Working Proof

As I wait for the sunshine to hopefully reemerge from behind all these clouds this afternoon, I think I'll keep gazing at this gorgeous print from Susan Schwake for The Working Proof called On the Rocks:

The print was inspired by family trips to the ocean in New Hampshire, and now have me totally dreaming of a summer beachside vacation…

The tiny birds are hand-painted, and I love the mix of soft color tones and white texture…

Vintage Stamps + Envelopes

So if you're like me and love vintage stamps but either don't have the time to hunt around for them or just don't really know where to start, I'm guessing you'll love this shop from Whitney Rae:

Whitney collects vintage postage, then artfully arranges the stamps on colorful envelopes in ready-to-mail postage denominations. Aren't her collections beautiful?

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone! I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, so I'm going to head out a bit early and get a head start on the weekend. We're hoping to visit the farmer's market in our new neighborhood for the first time (I'm dying to make this parmesan parsnip recipe!) and finally get rid of any remaining boxes in our apartment. But in the meantime…
