New Giveaway! Envelopments Roll-o-Deck

Hi again!  How about a little giveaway to brighten your Monday afternoon?  The lovely folks at Envelopments are offering one of these fantastic roll-o-decks, made with some of Envelopments favorite brightly colored and patterned card stocks, to one lucky reader!  Yay!

The roll-o-deck was first introduced by the Envelopments Team as a creative way to capture contact information from the 2010 HOW Design Conference.  Each roll-o-deck (stand not included, fyi) comes with 500 card inserts made from 125 brightly colored and patterned card stocks – from every color in the rainbow! – all custom die cut into the proper shape.  The roll-o-decks can be used as a personalized guest book, to keep your contacts in fashionable order, or even as a designer’s color wheel that enables you to mix and match color stories for new projects.

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone!  Wow, I don’t know about you, but this week just totally flew by for me!  After one busy week and with expectations for another one next week, I’m definitely looking forward to a relaxing weekend.  If you’re looking for a bit more papery goodness this week, check out my second California wedding invitation post over at the haystack needle!  Otherwise, I’m off to go meet up with a friend about a fun new project that we’re working on (I can’t wait to tell you all about it!) and get started on the weekend.  But in the meantime…

Vintage Bicycle Birthday Party Invitations

I wasn’t a particularly sporty child, but bike riding was my absolute favorite activity growing up.  So when Ashley from Lemon and Lavender sent over these cute bicycle birthday party invitations, the first thing that popped into my head was how much I would have loved to celebrate one of my own birthdays with these invitations!

Ashley originally designed these invitations for her son’s first birthday party – complete with super-cute matching soda bottle labels:

You can find these invitations – this time with drink stirrers instead of soda bottle labels and fun striped envelope liners – in the Lemon & Lavender etsy shop.  Thanks Ashley!
