Lovely + Modern Calligraphy from Primele

I love calligraphy, and for me there's really nothing better to start off a Friday morning than truly beautiful, modern calligraphy. I was so happy to receive an e-mail from Primele, a calligraphy studio from sisters Patricia, Kim and Rachel, introducing me to their beautiful work:

I love that the Primele calligraphy styles are inspired by primitive americana, influence by the retro palettes of the 1930s and '40s, natural elements, and contemporary design — all of which definitely comes cross in their work. I particularly love all the little illustrated details and vintage stamps! If you like what you see above, you can check out more from Primele at their etsy shop and blog.

Yellow Centerpieces + Zigzag Inspiration

Have you seen these amazing yellow centerpiece ideas that Kelly created over on Santa Barbara Chic?

I'm loving the yellow floral arrangements and garlands made from yellow mums — but I'm seriously obsessed with the yellow zigzag fabric that Kelly used in the two photos above. Gorgeous!

Font Crush â€” Cordial Bloom

I really, really like this new floral font — called Cordial Bloom. It feels so bright + cheery, and also has a fabulous folk-art vibe:

Carnival-Inspired Baby Shower Invitations

Rachel from Jolie Jolie shared these carnival-themed invitations that she received for a friend's upcoming baby shower, and I just can't get over the little admission ticket rsvp card (or any other part of the design for that matter):

The invitations were designed by Traci of 45wall design for the baby shower of Wendy from dozi design, and I just love the mix of bold red graphics, vintage-inspired typography, and circus details. Here are a few additional photos:
