One thing I’ve noticed after hosting countless get togethers is that guests seem to enjoy snacks and sips more if they are pre-portioned. I’ve set out jars and jars of delicious popcorn with no takers… but put that popcorn in cute little bags and our friends just can’t get enough. I think it’s the ease of having something that doesn’t take away from conversations in addition to being much less messy. So in preparation of all your Halloween happenings, download these printable mini bags and use them for everything from snacks to favors! – Lauren
Supplies
Text weight paper
Scissors
Double sided tape
Treats for filling
To create the mini favor bags:
Step 1. Print out the printable calligraphy file, which contains three different bag designs – Trick or Treat, Hocus Pocus, and Eat, Drink, and be Scary – laid out on one sheet. Start by cutting on the red lines (to separate them and then to cut the flaps on each side).
Step 2. Fold to create the bottom of the bag. Then fold in the flaps on the sides. Fold slightly past the black lines so they are hidden when you attach the flaps to each other.
Step 3. Apply double-sided tape to the inside of each flap. Fold in half and press the flaps together to finish. Fill and give out to friends, trick-or-treaters, coworkers, or have on hand for a party!
