NYIGF Recap, Part 1

Whew.  I'm back from New York after a whirlwind couple of days – and ready to kick off my NYIGF recaps!  I'll also be posting photos from yesterday's field trip organized by brides.com a bit later on.  But how about some NYIGF eye candy to start off the day?

My first stop at NYIGF was the Artecnica booth — I just couldn't pass the gorgeous Tord Boontje panels and lamps without stopping:

I absolutely adored these bloom cards and fairy tails:

These cork envelopes and bags made from recycled materials were new additions to this year's collection:

I've always loved these starlightz lamps:

From the Artecnica booth, I moved on to Snow & Graham, where I caught a peek at their new holiday cards, gift wrap, and calendar:

I also spent some ti

Catherine is based out of Hawaii (lucky lady) and her full collection is definitely worth checking out – she has an online shop through her website right here.
I've got more from the NYIGF coming up a bit later, so check back soon!

Sycamore Street Press Monthly Print Club

I'm a huge fan of the Sycamore Street Press monthly print series – what could be better than receiving a beautiful letterpress print in the mail each month?  For the July installment, Sycamore Street Press collaborated with artist Meredith Prévot, and with lovely results:

Each month, Eva from Sycamore Street Press gives away one print to one lucky reader – head on over to Eva's blog to enter this month's contest right here!

Treehouse Wedding Invitations

These invitations, created by Hello!Lucky designer Anna for bride and groom Hollin and Eric, just seem to possess an abundance of happiness and good cheer:

Hello!Lucky
Hello!Lucky2
Hello!Lucky3
In addition to the fabulous illustrations — I adore the bride and groom dancing under the tree tops — I also really like the way the designer navigated the somewhat tricky aspect of where to place the names of divorced and re-married parents on the invitation.  In this case, the names of each set of parents was placed side-by-side in a banner illustration, followed by the full names of the bride and groom below.  Just lovely.

{pink + green wedding invitations}

Cathie recently sent over these sweet pink and green wedding invitations that she designed and printed for friends that she's known since elementary school.  The bride wanted a green and pink color palette for the invitations – so Cathie developed this sweet bird-theme invitation design:

In addition to the invitations, Cathie also designed the ceremony programs and candy favor labels:
