My husband and I are still settling into our new apartment (all the more slowly since most of our work is done over weekends), and now we're in the phase of hanging up our artwork around the house.  I'm always looking to add new prints to our collection, and lately I've had my eye on these prints by Katie Kirk from Eight Hour Day:

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm looking forward to some family time this weekend, and to hopefully wrapping up a couple of projects I feel like I've been working on forever.  I'm not looking forward to all the rain we're supposed to be getting here on the East Coast this weekend, but I suppose that's to be expected this month (and I'm definitely glad that it's raining instead of snowing!).  But in the meantime…

Egg Press Baby Announcements

Two of my closest friends are expecting their first child in a couple of months, and I'm so excited for them that I can't really help but have baby stationery on my own brain these days!  I'm so excited to see that Egg Press just released a new line of letterpress baby announcements, with a range of styles that can each be customized with different animal, pattern, format or color options:

Pink + Yellow Elephant Baby Announcements

I've been saving these sunny and happy birth announcements all week — the joyful pink and yellow color palette seems like a perfect fit for a Friday morning!  Richele from Richie Design created these two-color letterpress birth announcements, with a space on the left where the new parents could include a photo:
