Sugar Paper – Modern Gray + White Baby Announcements

You might remember the modern baby shower for Chelsea from Sugar Paper that I featured back in February – Chelsea welcomed her beautiful son Owen in early March, and today I’m thrilled to share Owen’s baby announcements!

In designing the announcements, Chelsea used one of Sugar Paper’s custom papers in “smoke” with white engraved text and an envelope liner with a silver foil diamond pattern.  Lisa Holtzman created the gorgeous calligraphy, also in white text to complement the engraved text of the baby announcement.   The entire suite is just stunning – simple and modern, yet totally luxurious.  Thanks so much Chelsea – and congratulations!

{happy weekend!}

Are you all as anxious as I am to get a start on the weekend?  I’m looking forward to a weekend full of Word Cup matches (yay!), a bit of gardening, sleeping in, and trying out this coffee smoothie recipe (yum!).  But in the meantime…

…a few links for your weekend:

…and a few favorite posts from the week:

That’s it for me this week!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and I’ll see you all back here again on Monday!

Teddy Bear Baby Announcements

I’m not sure if it’s the total cuteness factor or just the fact that I’m getting a bit older, but over the past couple of years I’ve definitely developed a fondness for baby-related stationery, particularly baby announcements.  So when Brandi tweeted about these amazing 4-color letterpress baby announcements printed by Blush Publishing, I immediately fell for the playful teddy bear and bright colorful stars:

The design was provided by the father, Denis (congrats Dad!), and printed by Blush onto 300 gsm cotton paper.  Such a wonderful way to welcome a new little one to the world!

I somehow missed Kamal’s booth at last year’s show, so I was thrilled to finally meet her this year!  Luckily, Kamal was in a corner booth this year, which gave her plenty of space to spread out and showcase her gorgeous stationery:

This was the first year that Kathryn from Blackbird Letterpress exhibited at NSS, and it was so nice to finally meet her in person!  I've got a gorgeous wedding invitation suite from Kathryn to share with you all a bit later on, but in the meantime let's take a look at her booth from the show!
