Earlier this week I shared a recap from the 2016 National Stationery Show that was all about color – or at least the first installment of that theme, since there were a LOT of colorful exhibitors at this year’s show! Well, this recap is all about FOIL, from the now classic gold foil to my current favorite hologram foil and everything in between! In some booths foil was definitely one of the brightest stars of the show, while other exhibitors used foil sparingly to complement offset or letterpress printed designs. First up, the ladies of The Social Type with an exuberant booth full of glittering and shiny foil!
Okay, seriously – how gorgeous are these navy and gold foil matchboxes???
So many more photos after the jump – so keep reading below!
There was so much to fall in love with in the Fox & Fallow booth! Colorful greeting cards with foil stamped lettering, tropical vibes everywhere, new calendars and planners, notebooks, notepads, and to do lists – and of course their beautiful hand lettered chalkboard wedding signs!
Fellow Aussie exhibitor Blushing Confetti made their NSS debut at this year’s show with a series of foil stamped cards, art prints, notepads, gift tags, and an absolutely GORGEOUS calendar!
I love, love, love this calendar! There’s just enough room in each rectangle to write a little note if you want to, and the heavyweight brass hanger is just so substantial and beautiful.
Rebekah of Wild Ink Press definitely doesn’t skimp when it comes to printing methods. She often combines offset and letterpress printing with foil in her greeting card designs, sometimes even multiple letterpress ink and foil colors! I’m loving her new foil stamped notebooks!
Oooh, foil stamped animal patterns!
A pie-themed calendar! I’m getting hungry just looking at it!
Smitten on Paper is all about beautiful, clean, and simple designs – and all entirely foil stamped! The booth featured foil-stamped greeting cards, notebooks, and notepads. I’m a big fan of their weekly and daily planner notepads!
Love this little daily planner!
Smitten’s little daily planner is totally on my Top 10 fave things list. LOVE IT.
