If you love color, you’re going to LOVE today’s recap from the 2015 National Stationery Show! From bright explosions of neon to understated pastels, each of the following stationers incorporated color (and more than a few pops of gold foil) into their booths in a major way. Let’s start with Parrott Design Studio – Sarah’s booth design with colorful oversized acrylic hearts was one of my favorites from the entire show! Sarah incorporated those same colors throughout her new designs, from letterpress and gold foil greeting cards to laser cut cake toppers!
I often think of Claudia of Fig. 2 Design as the queen of color – I’m fairly certain she even dreams in neon. I love Claudia’s non-traditional take on holiday stationery, from her brand new holiday album to her gold foil accented gift wrap and gorgeous new gift tags!
I love the way The Paper Cub mixes neon hues and brights with neutrals and black and white! I’m totally feeling the new hand lettered art prints and edge painted note pads – so fun!
The Farewell Paperie booth was full of colorful letterpress printed cards art prints and entertaining accessories – all with a healthy sense of humor. The perfect combination!
Kim from Paper Lovely does such a wonderful job of bringing color into her designs, mixing different printing methods (with such beautiful results!) and pairing graphic black and white patterns with colorful edge painting. And those adorable mini notebooks with gold foil below? Gorgeous!
The Thimblepress booth is such a happy place! This year Kristen introduced beautiful gold foil state flower cards and eco-friendly floral push-pop confetti, along with new art print designs and tons of greeting cards!
The Wild Ink Press booth was definitely all about color this year – from a new collection of cards with full floods of ink combined with gold and copper foil to an actual rainbow of greeting cards! I’m also loving the new illustrated kid’s cards – perfect for the preschool and elementary school set!

Nole, you’re always such a cheerleader and it means so much to all of us how supportive you are of the community. Thank you! And yes, I most likely dream in neon 😉
Love those “Fun & Games” cards from Farewell Paperie! So funny!
Thank you so much, Nole!! You have always been one of the biggest supporters of my work and it means the world to me to be featured here and for your kind words. I truly appreciate it! And I am so glad we got to catch up a bit (and you got to meet baby Richard!). 🙂
I want to set up an apartment in Paper Cub’s booth. It’s so fun and bright and happy!
