Remember these beautiful understated calligraphy save the dates for Alana of Vellum & Vogue? With the wedding weekend fast approaching, it was time for Alana’s bachelorette weekend! The general details had already been decided in advance, but Alana wanted to inject some excitement by sending an itinerary of the weekend schedule. These teal and gold leaf itineraries couldn’t be more perfect!
From Krystal and Alana of Vellum & Vogue: As designers, one of the most fun parts of planning your own wedding is the paper goods. That includes all of the peripheral events like the bridal shower and of course, the bachelorette party. The details around Alana’s bachelorette weekend were arranged long in advance, so to get guests excited we decided to send out an itinerary outlining the upcoming weekend events.
We wanted the itineraries to have a bright pop of color and immediately fell in love with these teal envelopes, incorporating the same shade throughout the suite. We also wanted to add a touch of gold. Since this project was a shorter run, we opted for a DIY foil technique, easily accomplished with a glue stick and sheets of gold leaf applied to the border of each itinerary card.
The cards were completed by a folded itinerary, mounted in a glassine envelope on the back of each card. We layered the itinerary over a black and white geometric pattern and teal card stock, also accented in gold foil.
We also created complimentary thank you notecards and coasters which became part of a favor box for each guest.
Thanks Alana and Krystal!
