This week has been full of some amazing highs and lows. I’m so excited to be in our new place, but mostly these days I’m just feeling really tired. Exhausted from moving. Worn out from the challenge of mothering a teething baby. Struggling to maintain the energy to keep up with everything happening around me. Burned out from the self-imposed pressure of trying to do too much for too long. One of my goals for 2013 was to take a step back from the daily hustle and instead focus on improving my family’s quality of life. So over the next couple of weeks I’m hoping to slow down, focus on getting our new digs in order, and recharge. I’ll still be here, just maybe a little less often while we settle in at the new house. I hope that’s okay with all of you. But in the meantime…

Also mothering a teething baby and also worn out. Thanks for linking to Rachel’s post on my blog, here’s hoping we both get more rest this weekend!
Oh just found all the beautiful move announcements you’ve posted throughout the site, and the ones you had in 2011 with fabric–beautiful collections and a beautiful site. Hope you continue with it despite your busy life as a mother and a wife.
