When it comes to wedding invitations with a rustic feel, nothing beats out good old kraft paper! For their farm wedding, Helen and Steve from Bridges and Eggs wanted invitations that were beautiful but definitely not fussy. They went with a type-focused design with a fold-out vertical layout and perforated rsvp card – all printed on kraft paper and bound with twine.
From Steve: We really wanted a rustic wedding with delicious food, great music, beautiful things, and nothing fussy. We got married on a farm, in a barn in the middle of nowhere, with a tractor, straw bales, and wheat fields. We really wanted our stationery to have a rustic feel. We used recycled kraft paper, bound it with natural twine, and sprinkled a couple of bits of confetti from old books.
We designed and screen printed a concertina invitation with attached RSVP to cut off and send back, envelopes with our pig logo, matching thank you cards, menus, and message tags.
Thanks so much Steve!
