The Yellow Button

I thought we'd start this Monday morning off with something bright and cheery — and yellow!  Jessica from Sublime Design sent over these letterpress business cards that she recently designed for a clothing boutique in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and which were printed by Invited Ink:

The cards were letterpress printed on two different papers — super-thick (140 lb, or 300 gsm) white paper for the front of the cards and 80 lb sunflower colored paper on the back — which were then fused together to create the duplex cards.

The cards were printed in three colors on the front — charcoal gray, yellow, and green — and one color (green) on the back, and given rounded edges for a more finished look:

Aren't these the cutest cards?  I love the duplex printing.  I'm particularly fond of the hand-drawn pattern on the reverse side of the cards, which I think is a great touch and a nice surprise for the recipient of these lovely cards.

Thanks so much to Jessica for sending these over!  You can check out more of her work on her blog right here, and her etsy store here.

  1. This designer does some really nice work. After checking out her blog and Etsy shop, I emailed her about doing a couple of custom invitations for me. She responded promptly, was nice and very professional.
I can’t wait to see the mockups!!!
