Just after Sophie was born, her great aunt gifted us with a handmade quilt. It was such a meaningful gesture and is still one of my most treasured baby gifts. We take the quilt with us to the park, use it to bundle her up during the winter, and I’m sure we’ll come up with a thousand other uses as Sophie gets older. Along the way, we’ve accumulated a few additional blankets – lighter blankets for summer, heavier knit blankets for winter – that will last us well through Sophie’s childhood. Today I thought I’d share a few of my favorites!
