Ellie + Brendan’s Yellow and Gray Floral Wedding Invitations

Yay!  Ellie is finally back from her wedding (congrats Ellie!), and I’m super-excited to see that she’s posted pictures of her lovely gocco’d wedding invitations!  For those of you who remember Ellie’s fabulous Save the Dates, you won’t be surprised to see that her invitations are full of more sunny yellow goodness:

I’m definitely resisting the urge to just re-post every photo here, but definitely head on over to Mint to check out the rest of the photos and background on the production process.  Gorgeous work Ellie!

Pretty Pretty Packaging

It’s official.  I’m completely addicted to The Dieline.  I find endless sources of inspiration in all the gorgeous packaging featured there, from the lovely patterns to the quirky hand-lettering:

So much inspiration in packaging details, particularly for wedding invitations.  Check out more over at The Dieline.

{anne le guern}

I recently stumbled upon minifrenchie, the blog/portfolio of brooklyn-based illustrator Anne Le Guern, and I'm completely in love with her whimsical illustrations:

And of course you know I love this wedding invitation featuring Anne's illustrations:

Check out minifrenchie, and Anne's lovely illustrations, right here.

{papel picado papercuts}

I'm loving these fun, and super-colorful, papel picado papercuts from Etsy seller Ay Mujer!:

Even if these are a bit late for Cinco de Mayo, they would make a lovely decoration for any fiesta-themed wedding or party.   And, as if the banners weren't enough, Ay Mujer! also offers papel picado papercut invitations:

I love those invitations, and the "So Happy Together" banner with the two little owls is just too cute.  Check out the full selection in the Ay Mujer! etsy shop right here.

{wedding invitations – think plaid!}

I don't often come across plaid wedding invitations, so I was happy to see this invitation suite over on Beast Pieces – not only is the bold and colorful plaid background print tons of fun, but I love the contrast with the delicate script font and silhouette detail element.

The invitations were designed by Heather and Barry of Cheeky Design for their own wedding last year, and (very carefully) printed by Studio on Fire.  You can check out more of Heather and Barry's design portfolio over at Cheeky Design.
