Letterpress Wedding Invitation Booklets

If you've been reading this blog for a little while, you probably know how much I love wedding invitation booklets.  Whether stitched, bound, or just a long fold-out design, I just love the idea and look of an invitation booklet.  So when I saw these invitations from Dolce Press, I just had to share them with you!

{I'm particularly fond of the perforated rsvp postcard}

Dolce Press printed this invitation booklet in three colors – chartreuse, charcoal gray, and a blind (no ink) run, I'm guessing for the perforation at the rsvp card.  Once the booklet is assembled, the pages are creased to prevent the thick cotton paper from cracking and cascaded so that guests can easily flip to the appropriate page when the invite is closed.  Check out more – including more photos – over at the Dolce Press blog right here!

Letterpress Initial Note Cards from Carta, Inc

Carta, Inc. is one of my favorite etsy stores, and it was so nice to finally meet Angela while visiting her booth at this year’s National Stationery Show.  At the NSS, Angela launched a new line of beautiful letterpress cards, called the Abc line:

Angela Liguori Initial Cards

Angela Liguori Initial Cards2

Angela Liguori Ribbon

Each card is letterpress printed onto 100% cotton paper and features an initial (of your choosing) from Angela’s gorgeous alphabet brocade ribbon.  This design is also available as a wedding invitation – just head on over to Carta, Inc. to contact Angela for more information!

As a quick side note, if you haven’t seen Angela’s Italian cotton ribbon, you absolutely MUST go check them out.  I used some of Angela’s ribbons to wrap the bouquets at my wedding last year, and I can’t even describe how beautiful the ribbons are in person.  Check out her full ribbon selection right here!

Modern Wedding (or Unionizing!) Invitations

I just love these wedding (or unionizing, if you will) invitations, printed by SeeSaw Designs:

These invitations are both beautifully simple and completely unique – a perfect combination in my opinion!  Check out more, including the inspiration behind the illustration at the top of the invitation, over at the SeeSaw blog right here.

Super Awesome Packaging Design

Two of my favorite design studios, enormouschampion and Michael Fusco Design, were recently featured on The Dieline.  For enormouschampion, it was the packaging for their totally awesome Kingdom Animalia series:

For Michael Fusco Design, it was their colorful packaging design for Wheelhouse Pickles:

You can check out the original posts on The Dieline right here and here – and of course you can check out more from enormous champion here, and Michael Fusco Design here (Mike also does some pretty amazing wedding invitations, which you can find here).  Congrats guys!
