Hi Everyone! My name is Nole, and I love paper. I might even go so far as to say I have an addiction to paper, but I don’t see that as a bad thing.
I’ve always had a fondness for paper and design, but this fondness reached new heights during our wedding planning process as we researched letterpress and design options for our wedding invitations. But now that the wedding has passed, I still can’t shake my small obsession with all the amazing paper out there.
So, I’m hoping this blog will serve as a showcase for some of the really amazing designs and paper products out there — invitations, greeting cards, stationery, and others — as well as some of my favorite sources of design inspiration.

Our 1,1000 square foot studio is located in Hawthorne, California. We’ve got 4 presses (2 Vandercooks, 1 Kluge, 1 Chandler & Price), 2 paper cutters (both by Challenge Machinery Corp.), and a variety of other printing and finishing equipment.
Gus & Ruby Letterpress is New England’s newest stationery and invitation boutique, located in beautiful and historic downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The store is run by two pups, Gus & Ruby (oh, fine! And the two gals who own them) who have a love for all things paper.
