2009 Holiday Cards, Part 1

As you've all noticed, the holiday stationery season is most definitely now in effect.  And since there are so many great designs starting to come out, I'm breaking my holiday card coverage this year up into a few smaller posts over the next few weeks.  So, first up, a perennial favorite Linda & Harriett with a festive holiday collection — featuring a friendly Moose!

Next up, Dutch Door Press, with letterpress cards inspired by the 12 days of Christmas and a few other themes of the holiday season:

I love the blind impression details in these letterpress holiday cards from 12fifteen:

In somewhat holiday-related news, I'll be working on the second and final 2010 calendar round-up over the weekend.  And with all the calendars that have come out over the last couple of weeks, part 2 might end up being even bigger than part 1!  Hopefully I've seen every calendar at this point, but just wanted to put out one last call for any designers who might not have submitted their calendars yet.

Letterpress Christmas Ornaments

So this is the time of year that nearly every designer is busy cranking out their holiday collections – from holiday cards to gift wrap sets and gift tags – and this year I'm already seeing tons of amazing holiday stationery starting to make its way into the shops.  So instead of saving it all for a big mondo round-up or two, I thought this year I might collect them into groups of three or four and share them gradually over the next few weeks.  If you're browsing around, you'll be able to find them all under the holiday category from the sidebar.  Sound like a plan?

First up, some fantastic letterpress ornaments from Moontree Press, which I've been dying to share here for weeks now:

Aren't these lovely?  The ornaments currently come in four patterns, which you can find in the Moontree Press shop right here.  More holiday goodies to come soon!

Letterpress Lovebird Wedding Invitations

If any of you are planning to incorporate a bird theme in your wedding invitations, then you’ll absolutely love these letterpress lovebird wedding invitations from Spark Stationery:

I love the mix of modern and rustic design elements – not to mention all the sweet details in this Lucinda invitation suite (available in the Spark Stationery wedding album) from the little birds to the woodgrain details and abstract pattern leaves. And how cute is the wording of the invitation – “request your presence under the tree as they exchange marriage vows” – love it!  Check out a few more details right here.
