Happy Weekend!

I hope you all have wonderful weekend plans!  I'm heading up to New York for the NYIGF on Monday and for a mini-reunion with some friends – I can't wait.  I'm particularly looking forward to the Sample Sale hosted by Delphine, Smock Paper, Russell + Hazel, and Green Paper Company – check out the details on my events + deals page.  In the meantime…

Summer-inspiration

…I wish I was having fabulous adventures in Sweden like Chelsea… I'd really like to try this pizza recipe from Darci at With This Nest… and I'm really loving:

That's it for me this week – happy weekend everyone!

Rocket Ship Birthday Party Invitations

Yesterday it was hot air balloons, today it’s rocket ships!  I love these invitations that Brooke from inchmark made for her 5-year-old’s recent birthday party – each invitation is made from cut office supply paper and is therefore unique:

I think my favorite part is the hand addressed (and hand delivered) envelopes.  I don’t have children yet, but when we do this is definitely a tradition that I’d like to incorporate into birthday parties.  More over at inchmark right here.

Wedding Invitations — Good on Paper

I’m taking a quick break from NSS coverage to share a few new and absolutely gorgeous invitations and business cards from the always fabulous Lisa Wong Jackson of Good on Paper.  I’m a huge fan of Lisa’s work, and so when she was kind enough to send over a few photos of recent additions to her custom portfolio, I just couldn’t wait to share them here with you:

If you haven’t already, you absolutely must head over to the Good on Paper custom portfolio to check out more of Lisa’s beautiful work.  You can also visit the Good on Paper shop right here to check out the selection of note cards, small journals, office stationery, and lots more.

I’ll be back a bit later with more from the NSS – including photos from day #3 and more in-depth features on some of my favorite booths!
