These invitations from Kristina at Lovely Morning are just beautiful – the ribbon, the honeycomb pattern, the blind impression, the calligraphy, it all just works so well together…

Sycamore Street Press – Great Job On That Thing You Did
I love these cards from Etsy seller Sycamore Street Press (Update: Sycamore Street Press now has a new website! Click here for their new and improved online store.)
This phrase is now used regularly by both my husband and I at our house — he’ll do the dishes and I’ll congratulate him on a great job on that thing he did. Hopefully I’ll soon find a way to slip him one of these in person.

Wedding Invitations — Bird and Banner
Bird and Banner consistently produces some of the most amazing wedding invitation designs. I love their use of non-traditional materials, particularly cloth and wood, in pulling together an invitation suite. If I hadn’t already been set on a fold-out invitation design, I think I would have very easily switched directions and gone with a design inspired by the stitched invitations below:

2009 Calendar Round-Up
I love, love, love calendars. Last year, calendars were my main holiday present for office colleagues, and I think I ended up with no less than 4 different calendars just for myself.
My favorite calendar from last year was this letterpressed and screenprinted calendar from ilee:
Trust me when I say that these pictures don’t do this calendar anything close to justice — they’re really just beautiful in person. The new 2009 edition will be available in late September, and I can’t wait to order mine!
