Something beautiful…

I'm finding it a bit difficult to concentrate on anything tonight – and depending on how things go tonight may continue through tomorrow.  So for now, I'll leave you with some beautiful calligraphy by Maria Thomas – whose lovely work was featured in this morning's inspiration board over at Snippet & Ink:

Hello Handmade Paperie

Chances are you've already heard about this new collaboration between calligrapher Betsy Dunlap and Shanna Murray called Hello Handmade – but I'm too smitten with these lovely paper goods not to post about this myself!  So far, the shop features this amazing calendar and a winter art print, but Shanna and Betsy will be adding holiday cards and gift tags a bit later on.  Betsy's calligraphy and Shanna's illustrations are absolutely stunning, so I can't wait to see what they come up with next!

{calendar and print available here. Congratulations Betsy and Shanna!}

Orange and Gray Wedding Invitation Ideas

When I posted about this orange and gray wedding over the weekend, a reader commented that she was considering the same palette for her wedding and was trying to figure out if the color combination would work.  So I thought I’d look around for some additional orange and gray inspiration to see if I could help out.  Here’s what I found:

KenzieKate-OrangeGray

{orange and gray “Havana” invitations by Kenzie Kate}

{orange wedding invitations by Darling Dexter}

{orange and gray letterpress invitation by Smock}

{orange and green poppy invitations by Sarah Parrot}

{orange flower invitations by Jennifer Sutherland}

What about anyone else?  Are you considering a color palette but need more inspiration?  Let me know in the comments and I’ll see what I can find!

Betsywhite Stationery Boutique

I’m still playing catch-up from this week, but wanted to pass along some information regarding a new online stationery boutique called betsywhite.  Gia Graham, the founder and brainchild of betsywhite, e-mailed me earlier in the week to let me know about her new venture — here’s what she had to say:

Because we understand that all brides cannot afford high-end custom invitations, our goal is to offer brides a stylish alternative. We offer wedding stationery, wedding logos and other social stationery such as party invites, baby announcements and personalized note cards.

Betsywhite offers fun and modern designs for brides on a budget — here are a few examples of betsywhite designs, including a few of my favorites:
