A Wedding at the Zoo

A good friend of mine is getting married at a zoo in Indiana next year, so these wedding invitations from Mr. Boddington’s Studio totally made me smile:

I also love the matching escort cards!  I really like the way the height of each card varies depending on the animal used in the design, imbuing a bit of whimsy into the display.  Check out a bit more, plus the bride’s gorgeous dress, right here.

I also spent some time in the downstairs section of the NYIGF, which featured handmade goods from international vendors.  It was in this section that I discovered these amazing textiles from Indika Imports:

{these Tree of Life wall hangings use one continuous piece of fabric – they remind me of paper cut artwork}
Indika6
{I also loved these fabric bird garlands – called prosperity hens – hanging around the booth}
In addition to beautiful textiles, Indika also carries a lovely selection of Indian paper goods:

I just couldn't stop staring at all of the lovely patterns and colors – so gorgeous!  You can find all of these and more right here.
That's all from this year's NYIGF – I hope you all enjoyed the recaps from the show!

{letterpress print – Sycamore Street Press}

I love this limited edition letterpress print from Sycamore Street Press:

The print was inspired by blue and white dishes from Delft and Royal Copenhagen, as well as the
intricate detail and beautiful landscapes of Indian manuscript painting.  I love the way the line of yellow stitching provides the perfect accent for the blue and white designs:

Check out this print and lots more from Sycamore Street Press in their etsy store right here.  I really love all the limited edition prints that have been coming out of Sycamore Street Press lately – you should definitely check out Eva's blog for new projects and giveaway opportunities!
