Via Martha, Cheree’s guests opened their mailboxes to find: “creamy envelopes addressed in swirls of red calligraphy… different printing techniques (including engraving and letterpress), unexpected touches (the origami chart of St. Louis attractions), and fanciful details (the bee on the reply card).”   I’m particularly fond of the color palette of red, orange, and robin’s egg blue, not to mention all the amazing details in this modern wedding invitation suite.  So lovely!

My Business Cards – and new sponsor introduction!

As I get ready to head up to the National Stationery Show this weekend, I figured it was about time to have some business cards made up for myself.  I jumped at the chance to work with Suann from simplesong design.  Suann really went above and beyond for this little project, creating an absolutely gorgeous set of business cards and matching letterpress note cards:

The business cards were printed in soft gray ink with a blind stamped patterned background on Crane’s 110# bright white cotton lettra paper, while the note cards were printed on pearl white 110# lettra:

I love, love them – and I’m very much looking forward to sending some notes on my new stationery!  Thanks so much Suann!

Cheree Berry — Wedding Invitations

As promised, here is the second part of my three-part feature on Cheree Berry – wedding invitations!  During the custom design process, Cheree looks for inspiration in the details provided by the client, such as photos of the wedding dress or flowers, story of how the bride and goom met, or even the wedding location.  Cheree works with her clients to pull all these details together into a wedding invitation that uniquely reflects the client’s style.  Here are a a few of my favorites:

I’m still playing catch-up from this week, but wanted to pass along some information regarding a new online stationery boutique called betsywhite.  Gia Graham, the founder and brainchild of betsywhite, e-mailed me earlier in the week to let me know about her new venture — here’s what she had to say:
