The Bride’s Cafe — Ideas for Wedding Stationery

Hi everyone!  Today I'm guest posting over at The Bride's Café — Janie graciously invited me to stop by, so I'm sharing a few ideas for wedding stationery, from ceremony programs to marriage certificates.  Here's a sneak peek, but you'll need to check out the full post over at the Café!

Lovely Ribbon + Gift Wrap

I'm a huge fan of Angela Liguori's beautiful Italian ribbons (I even used her ribbons to wrap my wedding bouquets!) and I pretty much fell in love with the patterned paper from Pikku at the National Stationery Show this past May.  So I was beyond thrilled to hear about this fantastic collaboration combining Angela's ribbons with the Pikku wrapping paper — and just in time for the holidays!

Each package from this collaboration includes four sheets of Pikku wrapping paper — each in a different color and design — and 10 yards of Angela's ribbon in your choice of red, pool, neutral or chartreuse.  Available for purchase in Angela's shops here and here

{happy weekend!}

Happy Friday everyone!  Today is a bit of a special day for me – it’s the four-year anniversary of my first date with my husband!  (Isn’t that complicated? Those of you planning your wedding on the anniversary of your first date are sooo smart)  We’ve been out – either on the road or just away from home – a lot lately, so I think we’ll just cook dinner at home and maybe take in a movie as our way of celebrating.  But in the meantime…

…here are a few links for you to enjoy this weekend:

And a very Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate!  I’ll be lighting my candles at home tonight!

Illustrated Ceremony Programs

I'm in need of something fun and pretty today, and I really can't think of anything more fun than these wedding ceremony programs and thank you cards from Nisee Made.  Aren't they just beyond adorable?

Love the little heart detail between the two tails on the thank you cards – so cute!  The illustration details are wonderfully whimsical – just what I needed for today!  Check out more from these two projects, plus the couple's ridiculously sweet rehearsal dinner invitations, over on the Nisee Made blog.

{happy weekend!}

I'm pretty sure the sun is shining for the first time all week here in DC – hooray!  Between sunshine and a friend visiting this weekend, I'm definitely ready to get a move on the weekend!  But in the meantime…

Oh, and just a reminder to any DC-area folks that I'll be speaking at the Not So Big Wedding this Sunday at Rockwood Manor. I hope you'll come by to say hello!
