The current love fest with yellow doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. I know I’m still infatuated with all things yellow, from sunny lemon to sophisticated mustard – and I’m guessing there are a few of you looking for inspiration for a yellow wedding color palette. So, other than just telling you to check out Erica’s invitations, I thought I’d pull together a few examples of fun yellow wedding invitations:
{Classic Cowboy by Hello!Lucky}
{Daisy by Hello!Lucky}
{Rhon by Smock Paper}
{Palm Springs by KenzieKate}
{Aberdeen by KenzieKate}
{invitations for Connie and Colin by Good on Paper}
{Malibu Floral and Southern Charm by Little Tree Press}
{Rosa Canina by Dauphine Press}
{Bespoke invitations by ABCD Designs}
{Champagne by Bella Figura}
{Gocco invitations by Sarah Parrott}
{Twinkle invitation set by Dolce Press}
{Sunflower invitation by Bellis Studios}
{yellow + blue invitation by swashpress}
I have a weakness for notebooks and journals. I probably have at least five here just waiting to be used, but I still can't pass up a great notebook when I see one. Rag & Bone Bindery, based out of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, creates some truly beautiful hand-bound journals, as well as photo albums, wedding guest books, and baby books.
My favorites are these limited edition small journals:

I’m so glad that everyone loved Mike & Emma’s invitations as much as I did, but you may not know that they weren’t Mike’s first set of invitations. Mike is a talented graphic designer and runs an eponymous design studio called Michael Fusco Designs and I’m excited to share some of his other wedding invitation work with you today.
Two-color floral-inspired letterpress invitations
Screen printed invitations with a bird motif
More floral-inspired letterpress invitations
And these fun, bright orange invitations with a detachable RSVP card.
Mike also does some really amazing poster design:
Blue Ox Reading Series screenprinted posters
David Berkeley screenprinted poster
You can see all these and more here on the MFD website. Mike and Emma are currently on tour with the Magnetic Fields for a few weeks, but you can also follow their personal blog airplanes.donuts.distortion.

I first discovered Bluebird Studios a few weeks ago via Snippet & Ink, but only recently got around to exploring their work in greater detail.
Rebecca Trawick is the talented calligrapher behind Bluebird Studios and has done some truly beautiful work. Rebecca has worked with invtation and letterpress studios including Good on Paper and Paper Monkey Press. These are a few of my favorite examples, but you can also find more of her calligraphy here.
I love that letterpress studios are starting to use more calligraphy and handwriting. I love fancy scripts and typefonts as much as anyone else, but there's truly something special about letterpressed calligraphy.
{I wish I had handwriting this lovely…}
Rebecca is also an illustrator, collagist and painter who uses found materials, paper ephemera and other vintage items to create one-of-a-kind works of art and illustrations. You can see more of her lovely artwork here.
