NSS – Booth round-up, part seven

As promised, I've got one final NSS round-up to share with you!  I had so much fun at this year's show, particularly in getting to know some of my favorite designers a bit better and making some new (at least to me) discoveries.  I'm already looking forward to next year's show, but until then, you can find my entire NSS coverage in one handy location right here.  And now on to our final round-up!

First up, I enjoyed the bold graphic designs at the L2 Design Collective booth:

One of my favorite booth displays came from The Beehive Press, which used dozens of little white paper bees to accent their invitation and card designs:

And last, but definitely not least, a few more from Lilywillow, one of my favorite NSS new discoveries:

In case you still haven't gotten enough from NSS 2009, I've been slowly uploading all of my photos to my flickr page.  I'm still working on getting all the photos up, but you'll be able to find them all in my NSS 2009 collection right here.

NSS – Booth round-up, part six

So for those of you still reading blogs on this lovely holiday Monday, I figured I'd put up my last two NSS booth round-up posts for you!

First up, Binth, whose booth was full of gorgeous cards and art prints:

Binth4

Binth6

I love this handcrafted baby book

BinthBook1

BinthBook2

.and this deck of completely redesigned playing cards!  I particularly love the redesigned face cards (like the jack, queen and king) for each suit, and the way the odd number cards are redesigned to fit together in a more organic way, like the seven of hearts below:

Another favorite booth was from Pikku, whose colorful + patterned textiles and paper goods just made me smile:

Pikku3
{these eco-friendly letterpress calendars adhere to screen-printed birchwood planks – once the year is over, you can either hand the birchwood as artwork or order a refill with next year's dates!}

Next up, the bright + bold designs of Dutch Door Press:

{gorgeous wedding invitations!}

Red Cap Cards used whimsical illustrations with a definite sense of humor throughout their NSS collection:

Celebrating their 10th year in business – and 9th year at the NSS! – the Egg Press booth was full of lovely paper goods, from a sneak peek at the 2010 calendar to holiday cards:

NSS – Booth round-up, part two

Happy Friday everyone!  I don’t know about you all, but I’m definitely looking forward to some much-needed rest over the holiday weekend.  But first, more from NSS ’09!

I absolutely adored the Night Owl Paper Goods booth, which was chock full of their lovely letterpress and wood veneer stationery:

{love these letterpress art prints – the pig is my favorite!}

{I know you can’t see the details in this photo – but this calendar is absolutely gorgeous! It’ll definitely be part of my calendar round-up later in the year}

{I tried to get as much detail on this “Merry Christmoose” card as possible – the letterpress color field makes the white snowflakes pop up. Love it!}

I also had a ton of fun chatting with Tianyi from Tiselle:

My Business Cards – and new sponsor introduction!

As I get ready to head up to the National Stationery Show this weekend, I figured it was about time to have some business cards made up for myself.  I jumped at the chance to work with Suann from simplesong design.  Suann really went above and beyond for this little project, creating an absolutely gorgeous set of business cards and matching letterpress note cards:

Oh-so-beautiful-paper-business-cards
The business cards were printed in soft gray ink with a blind stamped patterned background on Crane’s 110# bright white cotton lettra paper, while the note cards were printed on pearl white 110# lettra:

I love, love them – and I’m very much looking forward to sending some notes on my new stationery!  Thanks so much Suann!

I’m also very excited to announce that simplesong designs is my newest sponsor here at Oh So Beautiful Paper!  As you can tell, I truly adore Suann’s work – from her readymade cards to her custom wedding invitations, baby announcements, and business collateral:
