I was so happy to receive a review copy of Julia Rothman’s most recent book: Nature Anatomy! Julia is an amazingly talented illustrator and I’ve been a fan of her work for years – her amazing wedding invitations were one of my very first features here on Oh So Beautiful Paper (and are still a personal favorite)! Nature Anatomy is a breathtaking illustrated guide to the natural world, with more than 200 pages of facts and insights into the world around us. Such a beautiful way to learn!
A follow up to her book Farm Anatomy, Nature Anatomy features more than 700 (!!) illustrations – everything from birds and butterflies to gems and minerals. I seriously can’t even imagine all the work that Julia put into creating this amazing book! My favorite part? An illustrated guide to wild flowers that I could stare at for hours. But really, the entire book is just gorgeous and can be enjoyed by both kids and adults!
You can grab your own copy of Nature Anatomy right here!

I am in love… I need this book in my life. Wish I had seen this 4 days ago when I was putting in birthday requests. 🙂 hehe where can one purchase this book? Xxx
This is lovely! I was also struck by the realization that a gonad is a real term for reproductive organs, not just some silly word that was made up. Wonders never cease!
OMG I was just looking at this last night at the bookstore! SO pretty!
