These wedding invitations from Anelise Salvo Design Co. mix simple details with natural materials for a rustic wedding in the woods. Inspired by the Orcas Island wedding location, the invitation was printed on sassafras wood veneer and included natural elements like pressed ferns and twine!
From Anelise: It was Abby and Frewin’s dream to be married in the woods and I was beyond excited I could help create their dream invitation suite! I took Abby’s love for simple typography and mixed it with some natural elements. The invitation was printed on sassafras wood and incorporates pressed leaves and natural twine to hold the suite together along with a tea-stained, rustic manila tag with their wedding logo.
We chose a natural kraft paper envelope and carried their wedding typography onto the envelopes. The suite evokes the rustic Orcas Island terrain Abby was hoping would come across and get her guests excited for a weekend in the woods!
 Thanks Anelise!

Oh my gosh these invitations are beautiful! I love the contrast of the calligraphy and the more rustic serif font.
Orcas Island is so so beautiful, and I feel like these invitations totally match the rustic and forest elements of the island.
