Jackie of Sincerely, Jackie definitely knows her way around a classic and elegant wedding invitation. Add in die cut details, beautiful screen printing in wine and metallic gold, and gorgeous custom calligraphy with sweet little heart details and you’ve got a recipe for a truly romantic invitation design!
From Jackie: When my cousin, Kelley, got engaged last summer during our family camping trip, we immediately began dreaming up her perfect wedding invitations. We knew that we had to incorporate hearts into the design: Kelley was born on February 14th and we’ve always said that she has a heart so big its no wonder she was born on Valentine’s Day! Hearts are so important to her that she even has a heart shaped diamond engagement ring. How sweet is that?!
I wanted to keep the design classic while bringing in hints of playful romance, and of course heart details. I immediately brought Charmaine, of Everly, Calligraphy, on board for the design and adore the way Charmaine’s lettering brought the entire suite to life.
The invitations were printed on custom die-cut ivory paper, with a unique method of silk screen printing. The silk screen achieves a stunning metallic gold, similar to engraving, but at a much more affordable price point. The invitation suite was paired with metallic blush outer envelopes, and a deep matte wine reply envelope. Both envelopes were digitally printed with custom calligraphy in white and wine ink.
Thanks Jackie!
