Hello from NYC! I’m still working my way through hundreds of photos (and counting) from the NYNOW winter 2014 market – which I can’t wait to share with you! But in the meantime, I thought I’d give you a quick peek at just a few of the standouts from the show. First up, the amazing handcrafted (and colorful!) kites and quilts from Haptic Lab! The sailing ship kites are just incredible in person, but I’m equally in love with the bright colors and patterns in the signature kites, too!
As you may have seen on Instagram, I’m pretty much dying over the amazing constellation quilt above. It definitely ranks up there as one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen!
It’s always a delight to see Emily McDowell’s beautiful goods in person, but this time I was especially excited to see her new collections of tote bags, tea towels, and temporary tattoos! So, so, so good.
More gorgeous stationery from Alexis Mattox Design! I love the laser cut greeting cards, wood engraved coasters, and everything in between!
The giant loopy yarn and knit goods from Loopy Mango are so incredible! The collection is available both as finished products and as DIY kits with yarn and knitting needles. And those colors!
I’ll be back with more from NYNOW winter 2014 soon!

Love the roundup. Those quilts! To Die.
Also love those laser-cut cards. Lovely execution!
Thanks Katie!
Hey! Just a note that your link for Alexis Mattox Design is not directing to the right place.
Thanks Annie! All fixed now!
Beautiful booths and work! Especially like the Loopy Mango! Really cool stuff!
Right? And it’s even better in person – I couldn’t stop touching it!
Emily McDowell’s stuff is so cute *^_____^*
Thanks Rin! I totally agree!
Thanks so much for the great roundup! Such great artists … Emily McDowell’s work is amazing!
Did you come across any paper with the beautiful script that you have in the very beginning? Thanks, mimi
