Happy Monday everyone! Today we move into our new house, and I’m both incredibly excited and terribly anxious to put this whole move behind us (fingers crossed that we’ll have internet at our new place later tonight)! While we pack the final boxes and move our furniture, I have a couple of really gorgeous wedding invitations to share with you. First up, some gorgeous invitations from Sarah of Studio SloMo that incorporate one of my favorite letterpress techniques – overprinting – to create a colorful gingham pattern for a casual Fourth of July wedding. Love!
From Sarah:Â We designed these invitations for Audrey and Erik’s casual July 4th wedding at a local park in Carmel Valley, California. The only guidelines Audrey gave us were to use bright colors and possibly incorporate gingham. Audrey and Erik were planning a BBQ in the park after the ceremony and using all gingham tablecloths.
Audrey also made strawberry jam with gingham jar tops for wedding favors. We created the thank you tags to tie around the top of the jam jar lids.  In keeping with the casual theme, they opted for a small folded RSVP tag tied to the invite directing guests to email their reply + check out their wedding website. Our favorite part of this invitation suite ended up being the little heart inspired by the gingham pattern.
Thanks Sarah!

Beautiful! I love the modern colors in these designs. And I love all the little extras, making this seem more like a fun present to open.
Those colours are fantastic and the gingham hearts are pretty ingenious to.
