Beth from OneCanoeTwo welcomed her first child earlier this year – a darling baby girl named Amelia.  When it came time to send out Amelia’s birth announcements, Beth worked with photographer Heather Roth to create a collage of beautiful images of Amelia, which Beth used to create a 5 x 7″ digital print.  Beth then incorporated a letterpress printed belly band that contained all of Amelia’s birth information.  Such a wonderful combination of digital and letterpress – and I love that adorable scalloped border!
Thank you so much Beth, and a belated welcome to little Amelia!

those baby pics make the announcement so adorable!!!
i love how there are so many different types of font on these announcements and how they are “handwritten” fonts not computer fonts. cool!
Oh my – look at those cheeks!
That is an incredibly simple and clever way of doing a birth announcement! I am definitely going to recommend it to my “expecting” friends
I love the combo of handwritten announcement with pictures. I’ve got baby announcements on the brain because my sister is about to give birth to her first baby in the next few weeks. I know she won’t do anything like this on her own, but maybe I can give her a helping hand and create something really special.
These are super cute! Love the handwritten type.
I ADORE this approach for a birth announcement! Everyone wants to see a baby picture, but for paper-lovers, skipping the chance to have some pretty paper involved can be tough. Truly the best of both worlds! Also: hard to get much prettier than “Amelia Jane.”
