So I thought I’d do something a little different this afternoon and share a really cool tour of letterpress studio Ephemera Press as photographed by Ariel Nebeker.  Ariel’s images are absolutely beautiful – so I hope you enjoy this glimpse of a day in a letterpress design and print studio!
{hand-setting the antique type}
{hand-mixing the perfect shade of ink}
{the press really gets moving – the wheel spins so fast!}
{tara inspects each print as she takes it out of the press}
You can read a bit more about Ariel’s visit to Ephemera Press over on Ariel’s blog – and of course you can check out more from Ephemera Press right here!

Nole, what did you do?! Thank you so much for the feature. I wish I could take any credit for the photos – the A we printed for Ariel Nebeker that day is also for AMAZING, AWESOME “ART”OGRAPHER! I’m inviting her back when the space is all finished.
Many thanks to both Tara for letting me photograph a little of her process and Nole for featuring this shoot on her beautiful blog! And, as for the ‘Artographer’, Tara, you’re too sweet:)
I love the imperfect quality of wood type!
