For both the Save the Date and wedding invitation, the bride and groom had the main element laser cut from an original papercut from Julene, then attached the laser cut to a piece of pink card stock:

That Save-the-Date is beautiful. I wish I could re-do my entire wedding based on this laser cut. I think it’d also make a lovely baby announcement … especially for a girl!
