Kangaroo Baby Announcements and Passport Wedding Invitations

Rachel from Jolie Jolie found these adorable letterpress kangaroo baby announcements from designer and illustrator Chris Rooney:

Which in turn led me to these passport-inspired letterpress wedding invitations:

And I love them both! The baby announcements are just ridiculously adorable — I love the contrast stitching detail in the pocket — and the passport wedding invitations are equally fabulous. Both by Looney Rooney — check out more of the portfolio right here.

Hi. Chris Rooney here. Thanks for displaying my work. The bottom piece was actually for a corporate event at a well-known San Francisco restaurant called Le Colonial that evokes the ambiance of French colonial Vietnam. Both pieces were printed by Classic Letterpress, a one-man shop in Oakland run by Norman Clayton. The stitching and assembly was done afterwards by me with the assistance of some friends with a very patient sewing machine.
